Detailed talks between Dundee United and Ray McKinnon over the vacant manager’s job at Tannadice have not stopped other big names expressing an interest.
It’s understood Celtic assistant manager John Collins and former Hearts boss Csaba Laszlo are on that list.
Collins has just announced he will be following Ronny Deila out of the door at Parkhead come the end of the season.
A League Cup winning manager during a spell in charge at Hibs, he wants to stay in football and the role at United appeals to him.
Romanian Laszlo steered Hearts to third in the Premier League back in 2009, a feat that earned him the manager of the year award.
Most recently the 52-year-old has been working in Hungary with MTK Budapest, but would be interested in returning to Dundee United.
The job, though, remains McKinnon’s if he wants it and he held more talks with United chairman Stephen Thompson today.
