Stuart Campbell has been appointed to the Dundee United board as an associate director.
Campbell will be the voice of fans’ group ArabTRUST in the boardroom.
He said: “I look forward to working with the chairman and other board members to assist the club in any way I can, whilst ensuring our members’ views are represented.
“As the third largest shareholder in the club, I think it is vital that ArabTRUST contributes fully to the running of the club with particular emphasis on the areas of youth and community development which form part of our key aims and objectives.”
The appointment was welcomed by United chairman Stephen Thompson, who said: “Stuart is a business person with clear business acumen as well as (being) a massive United fan.
“It is correct that ArabTRUST has an input into the boardroom and Stuart will bring value to the role.”
Campbell joins Laura Conway, David Dorward and Colin Stewart as associate directors, alongside Thompson and directors Mike Martin and David McGrory.
