Tony Andreu insists Dundee United are fearless going into Sunday’s high noon showdown with title rivals Hibs.
The Tangerines head for Easter Road gunning for the victory that would shoot them to within two points of Neil Lennon’s Championship favourites.
Andreu inspired Ray McKinnon’s men with a double in last Saturday’s hard-fought 2-1 league win over Morton at Tannadice and the on-loan Norwich City man says they are ready to take on the Hibees.
Andreu said; “We needed that win to take into the Hibs game.
“It’s good for the spirit among the lads.
“We can now go to Easter Road with some confidence.
“That’s what we wanted as we know it’s obviously a big game.
“We don’t fear it. We look forward to it instead.”
Andreu has done well for the Tangerines following his year-long move from Carrow Road and the Frenchman feels United can only get better.
He said: “I’m really enjoying my time here.
“We have a great group of players.
“We are getting better and still getting to know each other.”
Meanwhile, the Tangerines will face St Mirren at home on Christmas Eve at 12.30pm.
