Dundee United have recalled goalkeeper Brett Long from his loan spell at Forfar. The 20-year-old Northern Irishman was scheduled to stay at Station Park until January. However, United need cover between the posts following the injury to their number one Cammy Bell. Bell is having surgery on his groin and is expected to be out for several weeks. He will be replaced as first choice by Luis Zwick, with Long now returning to Tannadice to deputise for the German. That leaves Forfar boss Gary Bollan looking for a replacement as back up to Grant Adam.
