Possible Dundee United target Nadir Ciftci has now been told he is free to leave Celtic in the January transfer window, according to reports.
STV “sources” have suggested the striker, whose Celtic contract does not run out until 2019, has been informed the Parkhead club will listen offers of a loan and a permanent move.
The 24-year-old has failed to win a place in Brendan Rodgers’ side, playing just 30 minutes this season in the Champions League qualifiers against Lincoln Red Imps.
It is understood United have already registered their interest with Celtic to bring Ciftci back to Tannadice until the end of the season.
