Dundee United are set to take a 1,100-strong following to Fleetwood Town for this month’s friendly against Scott Brown’s side.
Tickets for the July 23 showdown at Highbury Stadium were released on Monday morning, with 900 Arabs rushing to secure their spot within the first 48 hours of sales.
Courier Sport understands that, as of Tuesday afternoon, only around 200 briefs remained; all for the seated section.
The terracing area is entirely sold out.
The test against Fleetwood, who recently handed former Scotland and Celtic captain Brown his maiden managerial role, will conclude United’s pre-season schedule.
Jack Ross’ charges will also play a behind-closed-doors friendly during their upcoming five-day training camp in Spain (from July 10) before hosting Sunderland on July 16.
And, with no competitive fixtures before the Premiership curtain-raiser at Kilmarnock on July 30, Ross has made it clear that the games against the Black Cats and Fleetwood do matter.
Speaking last week, he said: “What it (no Premier Sports Cup games) means is: we’ll use our last couple of pre-season friendlies against Sunderland and Fleetwood as meaningful games.
“Those should get us ready for the league matches.”
