Dundee United have seen their potential Europa League Conference opponents narrowed down.
The draw for the third qualifying round is made at 1pm UK time on Monday afternoon.
The Tangerines already knew they would be unseeded, however teams are then split into six smaller groups ahead of the ceremony in Nyon.
UEFA confirmed those sections on Saturday night.
Dundee United are in Group 3 along with fellow unseeded sides Pogon Szczecin (POL) / Brondby (DEN), St Pat’s Athletic (IRL) / Mura (SVN) and Seinajoki (FIN) / Lillestrom (NOR).
With second qualifying round ties still to be played, United will need to wait to find out their exact opponent.
However, it will be the winners of either: Basel (SUI) v Crusaders (NIR), Tuzla City (BIH) v AZ (NED), Royal Antwerp (BEL) v Drita (KOS) or CSKA Sofia (BUL) v Makedonija (MKD).
As such, United fans now know they will either be visiting Switzerland, Northern Ireland, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Netherlands, Belgium, Kosovo, Bulgaria or Macedonia in August.
United, who were defeated 2-0 by Sunderland on Saturday, are back in Europe for the first time in a decade.
Their last continental adventure was ended by Dinamo Moscow, with Peter Houston’s side succumbing to a 7-2 aggregate defeat.
Meanwhile, should Motherwell progress past Sligo Rovers in the previous round they will face the winners of either: Rakow Czestochowa (POL) v Astana (KAZ), Istanbul Basaksehir (TUR) v Maccabi Netanya (ISR), Valmiera (LVA) v Shkendija (MKD) or Sparta Prague (CZE) v Viking (NOR).
Preferences
Looking ahead to the draw, United head coach Jack Ross said: “You want the draw that gives you the best possible chance of progressing in the tournament.
“There’s a real variance of opposition within that. But it’s brilliantly exciting.
“Especially now, with travel restrictions, in the main, being lifted, that excitement for supporters will be huge.
“I’m sure they all have their own preferences to who they would like and what sort of away trip it would generate.”
He added: “The closer the better [geographically] probably goes without saying, in terms of the turnaround for league games, but it’s nonetheless exciting to see who we get.”
