Future of Dundee United loan attacker Cammy Smith up in the air

Where Cammy Smith will be playing his football for the rest of this season is up in the air.
The on-loan Dundee United attacker is currently training with his parent club, Aberdeen.
Dons boss Derek McInnes is “disappointed” at the lack of first team action the 21-year-old has got at Tannadice and the likely scenario is that he will be farmed out somewhere else for the last few months of this campaign.
Should there be no suitable takers for Smith, however, there is still the possibility that he will resume his fight for a place in Ray McKinnon’s side.
McInnes said: “Cammy Smith is back training with us at the minute.
“We have been disappointed he hasn’t had the game time we anticipated at Dundee United.
“We are entered into a season-long loan with them, so that will have to be honoured.
“We will speak to Cammy and try to find a solution for him because he needs to be playing.”
