Dundee United could be on the verge of a £1 million windfall on the back of Andy Robertson being sold by Hull City.
When the Scotland full-back left Tannadice for England in 2014, United chairman Stephen Thompson got a sell-on clause included in the £3 million deal.
Reports suggest that Burnley have tabled a £10 million offer for Robertson, and that it will be accepted if the relegation-threatened Tigers can sort out a replacement before the transfer window shuts.
United have already banked a significant six-figure payment earlier this season from Robertson triggering an appearance clause.
