Winger Tope Obadeyi has left Dundee United by mutual consent just hours before the transfer window closes

The former Kilmarnock player scored only twice for the Tangerines since joining the club last summer.

Obadeyi said: “I would like to thank everyone at Dundee United for making me feel so welcome.

“Staff, teammates and the fans have all been brilliant throughout my time here.

“I wish the club every success and hope and believe the team will achieve the target of promotion this season.”
