Dundee United are once again looking for a new manager following the sacking of Jack Ross.
Tam Courts left the club in the summer after guiding the club to a European spot.
That followed the departure of Micky Mellon the summer before and Robbie Neilson the summer before that.
This season’s European adventure started well with a first-leg win over AZ Alkmaar – but the club has not recovered from the humiliating second leg.
With the managerial position at Tannadice vacant once again, Dundee United fans have been having their say on Twitter.
There are those among the support who have sympathy for Ross:
I do have a measure of sympathy for Jack Ross, it was obviously not working but he was a long way from being the only one at fault. Almost every United player needs to have a good long look at themselves

There are also those who believe some of the players should follow:
I don’t think sacking Ross is gonna solve much in the long term. Certain individuals in the team have to go

Any chance we can punt some of the players who downed tools in those games as well?

Some are pointing to the structure at the club – and calling for more drastic measures:
We’ve had 4 managers under his reign and all 4 managers have been sacked or wanted to leave. Poor player recruitment from places like Australia and Argentina. You have now made this one time sought after job a poisoned chalice.
Tony Asghar, it’s time to go.

Ross' position was untenable after mess he made.
I'd have probably given him the week to see if he could somehow get a response as unlikely as it was.
Who next? It's not the attractive job it was in summer. If Ross couldn't last 3 months, it'll put a lot people off.— TDA (@TheDailyArab83) August 30, 2022
Finally, and inevitably, there are some looking to who will be next with some hoping for former United striker Duncan Ferguson:
