Dundee United hope to complete the signing of Hibs midfielder Fraser Fyvie today.
Although the deal is not yet done, contrary to reports elsewhere, talks have gone well and the player is expected to arrive at Tannadice to meet manager Ray McKinnon.
The 24-year-old was part of the Easter Road side that clinched the Championship title last season, while United failed to go up via the play-offs.
The ex-Aberdeen and Wigan man would be the second former Hibee to make the switch to the Tangerines following on from striker James Keatings.
A former Scotland under-21 player, Fyvie would become McKinnon’s fifth signing of the summer and join Keatings, Billy King, Tam Scobbie and Paul McMullan in the reshaped United squad.
