Dundee United manager Ray McKinnon has completed the signing of striker Patrick N’Koyi on a one-year deal.
The frontman, who was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo but has a Dutch passport, was playing for MVV Maastricht in the Eerste Divisie – the Netherlands’ second tier – last season.
The 27-year-old also counts FC Eindhoven, Fortuna Sittard and Rapid Bucharest among his former clubs.
He becomes Ray McKinnon’s fifth summer signing, joining James Keatings, Billy King, Tam Scobbie and Paul McMullan.
N’Koyi said: “I am excited to join Dundee United. I have met my teammates and visited both the ground and the training facility and cannot wait to pull on the tangerine jersey.
“I am here to score the goals that will help this club win the title. I look forward to showing the fans what I can do.”
United boss McKinnon said: “Patrick is a big, strong, athletic goalscorer.
“He has good pace and can score with both feet.
“He will add to our attacking threat and offers a different impact to the attackers already here.
“I am delighted with this signing and I believe he will become a big favourite with the United fans.”
