Dundee United midfielder Jordie Briels is doubtful for the home game against Inverness on Saturday. The 26-year-old Dutchman limped off during the first half of the defeat to Livingston after his troublesome hip problem flared up. United boss Ray McKinnon confirmed that Briels had been playing through the pain barrier. McKinnon said: “Jordie has been carrying an injury for three or four weeks. “It is a hip injury and it was giving him problems.”
