Blizzard conditions brought flights to a halt at Glasgow Airport and caused dangerous conditions on the roads on Friday morning.
The M90 Perth to Edinburgh road was photographed covered in snow near Kinross just after 11am as Tayside and Fife began to be hit by the wintry conditions.

In a statement, St Mirren FC tweeted: “GAME ON!”
Kick off is at 7.45pm.
The pitch is playable as things stand but there is concern about the surrounding areas around the stadium ahead of tonight’s scheduled match. We’ll have an update at 12pm when we have a better idea of how things are looking.

Some St Mirren fans have called on fellow supporters to look out their shovels and get clearing snow around the stadium.
