Dundee United head for West Lothian tonight for a crucial clash with Championship rivals Livingston.
The Tangerines will, of course, be hoping for as large a following as possible to cheer them to the three points.
However, those fans who can’t make it to the Toni Macaroni Arena are being offered the chance to watch the match inside Tannadice, with free pies, cheap lager on tap, and even an appearance by club legend Hamish McAlpine.
The game is being shown live in the Hegarty Suite as part of a trial organised by the club’s head of commercial Paul Reid.
He said: “We are trying this out to see if this is something our fans want. It is one of a few Hegarty Suite promotions we have planned.
“With Carling and Nicholl’s bakery helping to make it a cheaper night with the £2-a-pint promotion and free pies, we hope United fans come along and enjoy the match with fellow Arabs.
“Having Hamish there makes it all the better as he is never shy about giving his opinion on the performances.”
The Hegarty Suite will be open from 6pm and can be accessed via the main reception at Tannadice. The event is open to all United fans.
