Snowfall has led to the postponement of Dundee United’s home clash with Queen of the South. Fans were left unsure if the Championship match would go ahead after snow showers hit the city on Tuesday afternoon. A pitch inspection took place on Tuesday evening, with the club entering discussions with the police regarding the weather conditions. Kick-off was scheduled to take place at 7.45pm, however Dundee United announced just after 6pm that the game would be postponed. A new date for the fixture will be discussed “as soon as possible”.
