Dundee United manager Csaba Laszlo questions his players after loss to Queen of the South

Csaba Laszlo shouts orders during the game.

Csaba Laszlo clearly had enough of his under-performing Dundee United players as they lost 3-2 at home to Queen of the South last night.

Looking as frustrated as he has been since taking the job, the manager was furious at the loss of the three goals and declared that the players have to take their share of the blame.

He said:  “I am very angry and disappointed because we dominated the game for maybe 80 minutes but lost three goals.

“You have to be clever and not handle the situation like we did at the first goal, and at the second there was no danger.

“After that, we came back and I was thinking it was possible to press them (Queens) more at 2-2 but we made the same mistake at the third goal, with nobody there to block the ball.

“It is painful because people are asking me what’s going on but we can talk about the fans, we can talk about our home stadium and everything else.

“Do you (the players) want to move forward or not? That is the big question.

“I am always left to defend somebody but you are on the pitch.

“The problem is that from the beginning of the season we have had the same situation and we can’t step over (it).

“I am suffering as a manager to see this. I don’t want to see this.

“Who is blamed for this? Is it the manager? Is it the club?

“Sometimes you have to question (the players) by asking: ‘If I go out there, can I do better.

“If I can, then why don’t I do so?”
