Dundee United striker Scott McDonald will leave the club this summer, it has been announced.
The Tannadice side said the forward, who scored 15 goals for the side during the 2017-18 season, will leave “on expiry of his contract”.
McDonald, 34, was signed to United on a one-year deal in July 2017.
Goalkeeping coach Stuart Garden is also leaving Tannadice when his contract expires at the end of May. He has been with United since 2015.
The club posted: “Dundee United today announced goalkeeping coach Stuart Garden will leave the club on expiry of his current contract at the end of May.
“Stuart joined in 2015 as part of Mixu Paatelainen’s backroom squad.
“Dundee United thank Stuart for his efforts and wish him all the best for his future career.
“The club also announced that Scott McDonald is leaving the club on expiry of his contract.”
