Dundee United have secured a major boost by signing Fraser Fyvie on a new two-year deal.
The former Hibs and Aberdeen man was one of the few highlights in a miserable 2017/18 campaign and will be a major part of the club’s promotion effort next season.
Fyvie scored three goals in an injury-hit season but showed the fighting spirit United will need to end their three-year spell in the Championship.
United boss Csaba Laszlo said: “Fraser’s performances and professionalism were clear to me when I became manager, and he is an important player for us.
“Him signing is excellent news as we build our squad ahead of the 2018/19 season.”
Fyvie said: “I am delighted to continue my career here at United. I was enjoying my football last season, and the club has been excellent during my rehab.
“As I continue towards full fitness, I cannot wait to get back out playing for United.”
