Dundee United’s new defender Frederic Frans has said he is “thrilled” to be joining the Tangerines. The 29-year-old Belgian centre-back has signed a two-year deal at Tannadice. Frans played for Partick Thistle for two seasons before joining Lierse in 2016, leaving them after his hometown club folded at the end of last season. He can play with both feet, is good in the air and a great person to have in the dressing room.”
