Dundee United have made their 10th summer signing – former Partick Thistle midfielder Adam Barton. The 27-year-old has agreed a two-year deal. Manager Csaba Laszlo said: “I am delighted to have secured the signing of a player of Adam’s ability. “He is giving us crucial height and physicality in defensive midfield and is a strong character to have in the squad.” Barton wasn’t in the squad for United’s Betfred Cup clash with Arbroath.
