Former Dundee United frontman Jordan Allan in demand after starring in new role

Former Dundee United player Jordan Allan has only played four times for Stirling Albion since joining from Elgin in the summer but already has two full-time sides interested in him.
Allan, who also played for Morton, Montrose and Irish side Coleraine, was converted from an attacker to a left-back at Elgin last season and has been a revelation in that position.
His prowess in his new role could see Allan leave Stirling before the transfer window closes at the end of August.
Albion manager Dave Mackay said: “Jordan has attracted interest really quickly and there are concerns we could be asked to transfer him.
“Two full-time sides have already been in touch with me and we will need to see what develops from here.”
