Former Dundee United manager Craig Levein has been taken to hospital, according to his club Hearts.
The Tynecastle team confirmed the news regarding their boss in a short statement.
It read: “Heart of Midlothian Football Club can confirm that manager Craig Levein was taken to hospital this morning.
“Having received medical treatment, Craig is now recovering well in hospital.
“No further comment will be made at this time and the club asks that Craig and his family’s privacy be respected, as we all wish him a speedy recovery.”
Levein was regarded as being a big success as United boss between October 2006 and December 2009, before leaving to take on the role of Scotland manager.
