Dundee United have sold frontman James Keatings to Premiership team Hamilton Accies for an undisclosed fee.
Keatings joined the Tangerines in May of last year after leaving Hibs and will now look to get his career back on track at the Lanarkshire club, for whom he played until 2014.
After the deal was confirmed, Keatings said: “I just want to wish the (United) boys all the best and hope the team can reach their goals this season.”
Accies manager Martin Canning welcomed him back, saying: ”We know what we’re getting with Keatsy – he’s got great quality on the ball and he’s a fantastic finisher.
“He’s had a frustrating time with injury but he’s back fit and raring to go.”
