Csaba Laszlo was shown “disrespect” from his own Dundee United team from the FIRST day of this season, according to an opposition coach.
Rab Douglas was on the Tannadice touchline as part of Dick Campbell’s backroom team for a Betfred Cup group game between United and Arbroath in the middle of July.
And he was taken aback by the attitude of members of Laszlo’s side.
“I didn’t like the reaction of some of the players when we played them in the Betfred, the attitude back towards him,” said Douglas in his Courier column.
“I know for a fact that if it was our manager, you wouldn’t have got away with it once, let alone two or three times. You’d have been taken off by the scruff of your neck.
“He (Laszlo) asked them to do things and I heard one of the players chip back three times. I couldn’t believe it.
