For the second week running Dundee United secured an away point but again they will feel that it should have been a win.
Last week at Morton they surrendered the lead and on this occasion the Tangerines had to come from behind.
Tom Walsh gave Caley Thistle an 18th minute lead and United had to wait until the 76th minute to level the scores.
In between goals, however, there were far more chances created by the visitors than the hosts.
Pavol Safranko had two first half headers saved and another was directed wide in the second period, while Mark Ridgers was at full stretch to tip over a Matty Smith shot.
Then in the third minute of stoppage time Safranko headed straight at Ridgers when he should have scored.
Yes it was a comeback but, considering United’s dominance, put this down as two points dropped.
