Dundee United fans were left delighted after an incredible Dundee United team goal unfolded in just eight seconds at the weekend.
Pavol Šafranko pulled off a stunning volley in the 27th minute of the Arabs’ 2-0 victory against Inverness Caledonia Thistle on Saturday.
The goal started with a long ball from keeper Benjamin Siegrist, which led to a header from Šafranko, another from Nicky Clark and a wonderful Peter Pawlett heel-flick, teeing-up the striker’s perfect finish.
Footage of the goal has been posted to the Dundee United YouTube account. It can be viewed above (roughly 15 seconds in).
United fan Matty Drummond posted a video of the wonder goal to his Twitter account, where it was re-tweeted and liked hundreds of times.

The strike has led to calls from fans for Sofranko to stay at Tannadice beyond his season-long loan.
The Slovakian was brought to United by previous manager Csaba Laszlo in August 2018 on a one-year deal.

He joined the Tannadice club from Danish side Aalborg having worked with Laszlo at DAC Dunajska Streda in Slovakia.
Saturday’s strike was his third goal in as many games, and his second volleyed finish in a row.
