Dundee United striker Pavol Sfranko has been nominated for the PFA Scotland Championship player of the year award.
The Slovakian international has enjoyed a fine season with the Tangerines, who are pushing for promotion back to the top flight via the play-offs.
Safranko has scored 14 times for United this term, with the latest strike being a wonder goal against Inverness Caley Thistle that has proved to be an internet hit.
He is one of four men who will fight it out for the players’ union award, which is voted upon by his fellow professionals.
The others are Queen of the South goal machine Stephen Dobbie, Billy Mckay of Ross County and Ayr’s star man Lawrence Shankland.
In League One, champions Arbroath will be cheering on their player Bobby Linn, while Forfar’s Dale Hilson and Kevin Nesbit of Raith Rovers are also contenders.
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner in Glasgow on May 5.
