Dundee United trialist Pablo Ganet has moved on after his week with the Tangerines but fellow midfielder Adam King will continue to train with the club.
Equatorial Guinea international Ganet started the pre-season friendly against Brechin City on Friday night and United will continue to monitor him.
But they have decided not to make him an offer at the moment.
King, brother of former United midfielder Billy, will train with Robbie Neilson’s squad this week.
Sporting director Tony Asghar told Courier Sport: “Pablo is a player we have been tracking in Spain and David Byrne (head of recruitment) went over to watch him last week in his play-off game in Spain.
“We had an opportunity to bring him over to join the group. He did really well in training and the games but also has interest in England where he will go to this week.
“We will monitor him next week in another game.”
Meanwhile, weekend links with young Everton winger Korede Adedoyin are wide of the mark.
