Scottish Cup legend Craig Brewster has become the latest honorary member of the Dundee United Supporters’ Foundation.
The man who broke the Hampden hoodoo in 1994 by scoring the winning goal in the final against Rangers joins an illustrious group that comprises ex-United playing heroes Finn Dossing, Willie Pettigrew and Billy McKinlay, as well as amputee footballer Tommy McKay and the family of the late director Derek Robertson.
Brewster has been both player and manager with the Tangerines, as well a lifelong fan of the Tannadice side.
He said: “I was delighted when asked to become an honorary member of the Foundation.
“I met up with the steering group at the recent 1994 Scottish Cup win anniversary dinner and was really impressed how the DUSF had progressed in only two years.
“United have always had a very loyal fanbase and it is great that fans can get the opportunity to play an important part in the future of their club through Foundation membership.”
