Dale Hilson has rejoined Forfar after being released by St Mirren.
The former Dundee United striker has agreed an 18-month contract with the Loons.
Hilson (25) had spent no fewer than four loan spells at Station Park from the Tangerines before finally signing for the Angus men in the summer of 2014.
He subsequently moved to Queen of the South before joining the Buddies last summer.
Hilson will be in manager Jim Weir’s squad for the home derby against Arbroath tomorrow but may may have to wait for his debut because of injury.
Weir had hoped to have another new face in time for the clash with the Lichties but that move has been put on hold.
Forfar, of course, go into the derby on a high after their magnificent away win over League One leaders Ayr United at Somerset Park on Saturday.
