St Johnstone are now unbeaten in three matches but this wasn’t the performance or result they were looking for.
The Perth side started with Callum Hendry, Matty Kennedy, Michael O’Halloran and Drey Wright so there was plenty of attacking intent from Tommy Wright.
But they never looked in control of the contest and the Buddies were worth their point.
That being said, the best chance of the game was for the home team.
O’Halloran was put through on goal by Hendry on 27 minutes but shot straight at keeper Vaclav Hladky.
The closest to a goal in the second period was a Sean McLoughlin effort at the back post into the side-netting after Zander Clark couldn’t get a glove on a dangerous Ilkay Durmus free-kick.
Saints finished on top but couldn’t create a chance to secure a crucial victory.
