Drey Wright will be “more than happy” to extend his stay with St Johnstone.
Like fellow winger Matty Kennedy, the Englishman’s current deal expires in the summer.
And also like Kennedy, his first choice would be to remain at McDiarmid Park.
Wright, who showed signs of getting back to his best against Ross County on Sunday, said: “I am up at the end of the season.
“I was focusing on getting games and getting my performances up to scratch.
“Now we are getting to the second half of the season and I’m sure it is something the club and I can discuss.
“I am more than happy. I never regret coming up.
“I really enjoyed last season and this year has been tough with the injury but hopefully I am past the bad times and things will start to look up.
“I am more than happy to commit my future here.”
