Bristol Rovers are interested in taking St Johnstone winger Drey Wright back to England.
Courier Sport understands the League One side are tracking Wright, who will be out of contract at McDiarmid Park in the summer.
The former Colchester United man is a Saints regular now that he is fully recovered from a long-term knee injury.
His manager, Tommy Wright, has previously stressed that he views extending the wide man’s deal is a priority.
He said earlier this month: “He is someone that I’ve informed the club that I want signed.
“Ideally I would have liked it done earlier but we had other pressing issues in the window.
“I don’t see as a club where we could possibly lose Drey and Matty Kennedy in the one season. Hopefully it will get sorted out.”
