It will be over a week before the St Johnstone players return to training.
The Perth club have announced that coronavirus testing will take place on Monday June 22, with the first phase of pre-season work following on from that a couple of days later.
A statement on the Saints website read: “Preparations are well underway here at McDiarmid Park as we get ready for football to make its eagerly anticipated return.
“The players have been away from the stadium and training alone at home since lockdown began but as restrictions begin to ease and training is allowed to resume, we will soon welcome the lads back to McDiarmid.
“The first team squad will return in the week commencing Monday 22nd June for testing, with training in small groups to start a couple of days later.
“McDiarmid Park will remain closed to the public and access will be for players and staff only.”
The earliest the Premiership season can start is August 1 but it is understood that date is likely to be pushed back.
