Craig Conway is set to sign for St Johnstone and is in line to make his debut against old club Dundee United this weekend.
The 35-year-old winger has been on trial at McDiarmid Park in recent weeks and has impressed in bounce games ahead of the Premiership restart.
He will bring vast experience to a young Perth side.
Conway won the Scottish Cup with United in 2010 and then went on to have successful spells with Cardiff City and Blackburn Rovers. He has also played for Scotland.
His most recent club was Salford City.
