Danny McNamara’s excellent start to life as a St Johnstone player has seen him receive a Republic of Ireland under-21 call-up.
The on-loan Millwall right-back has started every one of Saints’ first five Premiership games.
He has arguably been the Perth side’s best player so far under new boss Callum Davidson, after arriving on a season-long loan along with forward Isaac Olaofe.
McNamara was named in Jim Crawford’s 25-man squad for a training camp next week.
His one appearance for the Irish U-21s was last year in a 1-0 win in Armenia under now senior manager, Stephen Kenny.
