St Johnstone defender Wallace Duffy’s loan deal with Morton has been cancelled.
The former Celtic centre-back was due to join the Championship club for the season but after discussions between Morton and the player he will return to McDiarmid Park in the meantime.
A Saints spokesperson said: “The agreement today between Wallace and Greenock Morton has been made for non-footballing reasons.
“We’d like to thank Greenock Morton for their professionalism and understanding.”
