Injury-plagued Chris Millar is braced for another month on the sidelines.
The St Johnstone midfielder’s campaign has been disrupted by a series of groin and hamstring problems.
He started against Rangers and then Hearts after recovering from a groin strain but was forced off early at Tynecastle.
Manager Tommy Wright said: “Chris has suffered a tear in his hamstring and will be out for four weeks. It’s a real setback for him and for us because we thought his troubles were behind him.
“He has had a torrid time of it and it is a real disappointment because Chris can be so influential for us.”
