Defender Keith Watson is ready for a totally different challenge if he continues his St Johnstone comeback at Celtic Park on Wednesday night.
The former Dundee United defender made his home debut for Saints in the comfortable Scottish Cup defeat of Stenhousemuir on Saturday.
And, with regular right-back Richard Foster suspended in midweek, Watson is set keep his place against the unbeaten runaway league leaders.
“It was good to get 90 minutes under my belt before that,” he said. “If I’m selected, obviously.
“It’s a game we’ll all be looking forward to.
“It will definitely be a different type of match to the Stenhousemuir one.
“We were expected to take the game to them.
“That won’t be the case at Parkhead but we’ll give it a right good go. We certainly won’t roll over.
“I know how tough it is there and that you need to be on the top of your game.
“My record’s not great. I was at Dundee United and they haven’t won there for a long time. We ran them close a couple of times in my time at the club but the best we got was a draw once, I think.
“Celtic have been flying so far but hopefully this will be the game they slip up in.”
