St Johnstone defender Brian Easton has admitted to being flattered at links with Aberdeen. The full-back is out of contract in the summer and Perth boss Tommy Wright is determined to keep him. “We’ve started talks,” said Easton. “The manager says he’d like to keep me here. I was keen on it because I enjoy it here. “However, my agent has been speaking to the chairman and I’ll let them get on with it. “I’m honestly not focusing on (the Aberdeen links) but it is flattering. It’s never a bad thing when you get a wee bit of interest from other teams. “But I’ve been around long enough to know that unless there is something concrete you shouldn’t think too much about it, as it can affect you. “I’m not thinking about either that or the St Johnstone contract until it gets sorted out.”
