St Johnstone’s David Wotherspoon could be the next Scot to be called up by Canada.
Scott Arfield and Fraser Aird have already signed up, and both played in last week’s friendly between the two nations.
And Courier Sport understands that Wotherspoon could be following their path as his mother was born in Canada.
The Perth midfielder played for Scotland at under-18, under-19 and under-21 level while at Hibs.
