St Johnstone have snapped up Northern Ireland under-21 international Kyle McClean.
The 18-year-old had a trial period in Perth towards the end of last season and impressed manager Tommy Wright enough to earn a one-year contract.
McClean, who was released by Nottingham Forest, is currently with Northern Ireland’s under-21 squad for their game against Estonia on Thursday.
Wright said: “I was very impressed with Kyle in his trial week here and he will go straight into the first team squad for the season ahead.”
