Young St Johnstone striker Greg Hurst is hoping to catch manager Tommy Wright’s eye with more goals before the end of the season.
The 19-year-old scored two for the development side in a midweek rout of Falkirk.
Wright has indicated that he will try to introduce some of his youngsters into the first team squad but HUrst, who has been a substitute once this season, isn’t getting too far ahead of himself.
The former Stirling Albion forward told the club wesbite:“My main focus is with the under-20s for now, right until the end of the season.
“If anything happens with the first team, then I’ll take it as it comes, but my main focus is just to perform well for the under-20s and show the gaffer I can play at first team level.”
