St. Johnstone have confirmed the departure of defender Keith Watson on loan until January to English National League side Hartlepool United. The former Dundee United and St Mirren man only played in six competitive matches under Tommy Wright last season and scored one goal. He had a cruel run of luck with injuries and by the time he had returned to fitness, Richard Foster had nailed down the right back position.
