In a notable double, St Johnstone boss Tommy Wright has been named the Ladbrokes Premiership Manager of the Month for August with front man Michael O’Halloran picking up the Player of the Month accolade.
It is recognition for the blistering start Saints have made to the season, winning their first three league games and drawing the fourth, against champions Celtic at Parkhead.
O’Halloran, on loan from Rangers, has made a huge impact on his return to McDiarmid, netting four times in just five games.
