St Johnstone’s Richard Foster has been handed a two-match ban by the SFA for “excessive misconduct” following the 3-2 defeat against Dundee at Dens on September 16.
Saints were left feeling aggrieved after a Steven Anderson goal was chalked off and then referee Alan Muir awarded a penalty against the Perth side when he adjudged that Foster had fouled the Dark Blues A-Jay Leitch-Smith in the box.
Afterwards, the official’s dressing-room door was damaged with Foster subsequently cited.
Now, he is set to serve a suspension.
