Chris Kane has returned to St Johnstone a better striker than when he left for Queen of the South on loan, according to Perth boss Tommy Wright.
But there is even more to come.
“Kano has really stepped up for us lately,” said Wright of his forward who has scored six goals sicne coming back to McDiarmid Park.
“Like all good strikers he kept going despite missing chances and he got his reward against Hibs.
“The finish was excellent, it was completely instinctive and that’s what he’s really good at.
“He has to work on the ones where he has more time to think about it but that’s three goals in the last two games now.
“He has come back to us a much better all-round player. I think his link-up play and holding the ball up has improved massively.
“Kano is doing the simple things much better now.
“He is stronger and looks a real threat for us.”
