St Johnstone midfielder Blair Alston’s season is over.
The former Falkirk man injured ankle ligaments after coming on as a second half substitute against Aberdeen at the weekend.
The recovery time is expected to be between four to six weeks.
Manager Tommy Wright said: “The injury list we’ve had this year has been the worst in my time and this is another blow.”
David McMillan, Brian Easton and Stefan Scougall are all “making progress,” with the latter having the best chance of playing again before the season finishes, according to Wright.
